Beacon Woods Golf Club on Nov 6th Hosted by VVA Chapter 1003 Hudson

September 03, 2010

Big Bob,

Well we are at the beginning of seeking players and sponsors for our “Support Our Troops” Golf Tournament to be held at Beacon Woods Golf Club on Nov 6th Hosted by VVA Chapter 1003 Hudson, Fl We were able to raise $8,000 the last time we did this so we are going to do better this year

Would appreciate it if you would incorporate on your Web Site the Golf Flier and work with Vinnie Rega of Chapter 1003 with some Corporate possibilities. Also if possible, we would like to do a presentation at their Breakfast Meeting on Sept 5. I will be attending to pump up the Membership to get out there and raise funds.

Bob we usually give the local Chapter up to 20% of net proceeds to support local programs helping families of deployed Troops.

Of course we would like to have some nice humidors(still waiting for mine), flags in cases and other prizes to use for raffle and such. Plus it wouldn’t hurt if we had some Stogies to smoke while we chase that white ball. Do you have a source that might donate ball caps and golf towels?? We have somebody that can do the embodery

We want to make this a yearly endeavor. The Seminole Tribe will be a participant

Vinnie please copy to your Committee, I don’t have any of their emails
