Salaam Aleikum my friends,
It has been a very busy five weeks since I last wrote an update. If you will recall, we had just put the CNO and the MCPON and all their strap hangers on a plane to Singapore and Hawaii and I was just back from 125F+ Qatar-no worries, it was a wet heat! Since that time, I have made two trips downrange and a pass through Bagram Air Field to honor three more fallen warriors-two United States Marine Corps Officers and an HM3-hospital corpsman third class.

Bob, the items these service members could use is: personal hygiene
items, liquid bath soap for showers, razors, razor blades, Deodorant
(both regular and antiperspirant), toothpaste, toothbrushes, coffee,
snacks (crackers, candy, microwave popcorn, etc), books and DVDs and
cigars. The cigars are a big favorite of these service members.

Bob,
WOW! That is about all I could say when three more boxes arrived here yesterday. It is truly amazing the amount of stuff you and your team sent us and the show of true support. All of the items are welcome and have been put to good use - improving the morale here and reminding us of why we are fighting.
