troop letter: A box of toys

Thank you for all of your prayers, support, and encouragement.
Our work here in Afghanistan is
really all about building relationships for the local people, and
building them up to be able to care for, and secure themselves.
Therefore, much of what we hope to accomplish will be done through
one-on-one moments and contacts. I am including a picture of one of
those God-ordained moments. I just happened to walk into our aid
station with a box of toys at the exact moment that they were caring for
an local boy. His fingers were injured, and he was obviously a little
scared, but hopefully a seed for goodwill has been planted.
Thank you for all of your prayers, support, and encouragement. It truly
makes a big difference not just in our lives, but also in the lives of
all the people around us.
