troop letter: appreciate
March 18, 2011
you and your volunteers will never let that happen.
Hi Bob,
I work for a US Mail Contractor, of Florida.
Yesterday (Wednesday) I had the opportunity to bring a load of BMC’s from the Tampa Post Office
to your Westley Chapel location.
After unloading the empties and reloading the full ones I had to get the paperwork signed and took
the opportunity to ask about what you and all your volunteers do.
They took the time to explain everything you do for our front line troops and the postage expense
associated with it.
I too have two passions in my life. As a cancer survivor, I am involved with the American Cancer Society
Relay For Life in Clearwater because I want to live to see a cure for cancer in my lifetime.
I also do all I can to get to as much information I can out there so our men and women in the military
are never ever forgotten.
My visit to your location yesterday has renewed my belief that they never will be forgotten because people
like you and your volunteers will never let that happen.
I am sending this email to let you know not just that I am going to get the word out to everyone I can
let them know what you and your volunteers do, but also because I forgot to do the one thing I wanted
to do while I was there yesterday.
I forgot to say thank you to all your volunteers. Can you please let them know that I for one, appreciate
everything they do, and to you, even though words can never express what your efforts mean to me and
so many others, I say, Thank You.
