troop letter: CMSgt Jack

Mr. Williams,
I’m CMSgt Glenn “Jack” from the EFSS. I’d like to say thank you very, very much for the 5 packages you sent to us this past week.
We started using the popcorn and the flavorings in our theaters and community center for our Troops to enjoy. The cigars will allow us to plan a scotch and cigar night in the very near future and I will try to capture some pictures of our event where we’ll charge for the drink and give everyone a complimentary cigar courtesy of your organization. I will add a few donation jars at the event to talk up your support and ask for anyone to provide donations to send a little money to help defray the cost of postage for the awesome program. The toiletries you sent we gave to our medical group for any of our wounded personnel that are here recuperating from up range. We have a building here run by the chapel that has every type of toiletry items you could imagine so in the future you may save a little postage on that if you send future packages. The movies were added to our collection here for people to check out and enjoy. They will also be shown in the theaters every couple of months when new rotations come in and we can show them as newer movies.
We have all the recreation facilities and anything you send like that we use to really support the troops. This is not just hand out and an individual is taken care of. We use it across the entire base to support all our customers, which we see about 60,000 customers a day throughout our 60+ facilities. We really appreciate what you do for sending us a little bit of home and will be in contact in the future when I make a collection and drop it in the mail.
