Just got back out to sea, heading east back to Pakistan
Bob,
Just got back out to sea, heading east back to Pakistan. I got 4 boxes
of yours to open. I just open 2 of them and got all the awesome goodies
passed out. I took half a box down to the arresting gear gang and man
were they all happy about that!! I did get the picture from Lt Gen
Allen, I presented it to our CO and XO. It is now hanging in Maintenance
Control so everyone can see it. I have 2 more boxes to open, I will open
those on night crew to ensure the Night crew Marines get some of the
good stuff. All the computer bags you sent all went to Marines and
Sailors that needed them, it was pretty funny seeing how Marines wanted
those more then some of the chow!! We truly appreciate everything you do
for us out here. Vice Admiral Fox was on board today, he is the 5th
Fleet Commander, so it was great to see him again. He used to be the
Admiral on this ship when we started all our work-ups and he flew his
last Carrier mission with us back in 2009!
We will being doing OEF missions for the next 3 weeks then slowly
heading back home the last week of November. I would assume the
inflatable pumpkin is in on of the last 2 boxes, I will let you know.
