last two boxes of goodies really made

Bob,
Greetings from a grateful Soldier! I’ve received several packages from
you and want to say thanks! The last two boxes of goodies really made
an impact upon two groups of guys. The first group was a platoon from
one of my companies who were here for a special mission. A picture of
them was featured on the Army Knowledge login page the other day - it’s
neat to see my Soldiers in caught in action. Anyway, since they were
transients here, I took a great big box of stuff to make their stay a
lot more enjoyable. The second group were also transients, driving
through on their way to another place I cover. They weren’t expecting
that much hospitality on the short stay. But they happily loaded their
pockets and trucks and drove away. I’ll be checking in on them next
week at their home station. In any case, both groups were very
grateful, so from them, thank you!
I’ll continue to be here in Eastern Paktika Province until probably late
February 2010. I know CH J replacement will be here soon and I’m
looking forward to meeting and working with him. Once again, thank you!
