We have received so many amazing care packages at Kandahar and you have delighted the entire unit
Sir Bob,
Let me just start with a HUGE THANK YOU! We have received so many amazing care packages at Kandahar and you have delighted the entire unit as well as some units a little further downrange and a little more in need than us. My apologies for not getting this thank you to you sooner. You have truly made this year long deployment a little more bearable with your extreme generosity. A great memory I will always have of this deployment will be how everyone would always come running when they heard the news that we received a new “Uncle Bob” box!
I will be departing Kandahar (finally) on 10 Aug. I’m sure the office would not object to receiving more of your packages however I will not be here after that.
Thanks again for all of your support. It is an honor and a privilege to serve great Americans like you!
