Needless to say all kinds of requests have been thrown at me mostly in categories
Bob,
I read your e-mail aloud to the guys in the shop and eyes lit up, most guys heard of organizations like this but have never had the opportunity to be “adopted” by one. Needless to say all kinds of requests have been thrown at me mostly in categories so I’ll list those in an attempt to cover all bases:
Gym stuff: workout gloves, workout video’s, squat belts, tension bands, boxing gloves, boxing wraps
Entertainment: MP3 Chargers (iPod/Zune), Headphones, DVD’s, Old Xbox360 games, old MP3 Players, Old cameras, blank CD’s to send pics home, guitar picks
Work Items: work gloves, boot inserts, camelbacks, head covers (skullies for under cranials), head lamps
Beef Jerkey and Girl Scout cookies
That pretty much covers everyone I talked to in all the shops. We don’t know how to Thank You enough, I’ll definitely get my kicks handing this stuff out to all the guys and their already smiling! Any extra stuff you can send will help out the people I didn’t get to talk to or who couldn’t think of anything at the time. Thank You again for all your support and God Bless!
