troop letter: It means a lot

April 04, 2010

I want to take you & your team very much for taking time out our lives to
remember us here serving.

Good morning Bob,
I hope this email finds you doing well.  I just wanted to inform you that
I’m coming to the end of my tour and will be departing in 10 days.  My
replacement will be CMSgt Tracy G and I’m sure she’ll be more than
happy to continue accepting care packages on behalf of our troops here.

I want to take you & your team very much for taking time out our lives to
remember us here serving.  It means a lot and although we don’t get the
chance thank you very often I just want to pass on thanks from the men &
women of the 379th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron.  For the past year
they have worked very hard to make life easier for those here and abroad and
those few care packages made a difference for each of them in even the
smallest way.  Again, Bob thank you and God Bless.
