troop letter: nearly 300 pounds.

Sailors are going to be very happy tomorrow when I distribute all this
to them.

Holy Cow Bob!!!  I received SIX boxes today totaling nearly 300 pounds.
And they were chock-a-block full of all the necessities as well as the
“great to haves” that we miss from home.  I know you must hear this a
lot, but we cannot thank you enough for all that you do.  I know my
Sailors are going to be very happy tomorrow when I distribute all this
to them.

Speaking of thank yous...the boxes come with zip lock baggies that have
cards in them which appear to be made by your “little helpers”.  There
were also Easter cards from the Boatwrights and some sparkly cards from
Rebekah and Monika (with a photo of them holding a flag).  I would love
to send them thank yous.  Can you provide addresses or if I send them to
you can you ensure they get passed on?  For the little ones, I can take
photos of my guys receiving the baggies and holding the cards up.  I
would especially like to return a photo holding the cards from Rebekah
and Monika since they sent us a photo.

There was also a thank-you note on the lid of a box from Rachel at
American Fabric Filter.  If there are sponsoring companies like AFF I
would love to get their addresses as well and send them off thank yous
as well.

As you can guess, I believe in acknowledging our thanks and appreciation
for what everyone is doing for us.

I know you are a busy man, but if you could tell me the best way to
accomplish the above I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, if there are any extremely special people, let me know and I’ll
send them my personal thanks along with my personal coin (have you
received yours yet).

Lastly, you asked for suggestions.  Right now your boxes are spot on
with what I know everyone is asking for.  We are having our half-way
celebration at the end of this month (hard to believe we’ve been here
for almost four months already).  During that celebration we are going
to give away door prizes to everyone.  Anything along those lines would
be greatly appreciated and I’ll make sure you get all due credit.
