Good evening.
Thank you for the coffee and coffee pots.
We took one pot to a sailor
who requested it, and shared the coffee with three of our six compounds,
so RP2 XXX and I were very popular tonight on the stretch that we call
the waterfront. The XO knows who needs the other coffee pot, so I’m
waiting on word from him.
How are things in Florida? How are you and your granddaughter? We hit
the two-month mark here last week, which means that sailors were
eligible for leave, and 18 took it. Some think it’s too early to go,
while others fear that leave will be rescinded later. I hope it’s not,
because I’m not going home until January.
