Bob, Thank you so much for all that you have been doing for us. I had a nice Turkey dinner here in Afghanistan, but would have liked to share a drum stick with you and yours, over the Afghans.
I am making the long trip home very soon, but would like to offer your assistance to the follow on team. You can find the SMG of the new team on the CC line of this email. They have been in country for a few weeks and are enjoying many of your spoils from the last two packages that you have sent. Their group of guys are settling in, but I’m sure will enjoy anything that you can provide them.
I would personally like to express my greatest gratitude for your support of our troops. You are a great example for all of us to follow. Thanks again and have a great Holiday season.
