Sir,
I want to start off by thanking you for your support in taking care of the troops. The box of goodies your group sent was very well received.
I of course grabbed some goodies but handed out most of the rest. What was left over I took to the services tent so anyone coming in or out had stuff to select from. Please know the whole camp says thank you. My personal thanks as well. I am stationed at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. I will be deployed thru February. The cold weather is approaching . We are in the mountains so it rains and snows in the winter. We have several hundred personnel. The last box you sent was outstanding, a little something for everyone. I have attached some pictures. The three knitted hats will be given to the local hospital as we are not allowed to wear civilian clothes. The items you listed in your letter would be great additions to any further boxes you send. Seasonal decorations would be helpful as well
Thank you so very much for your support, You have no idea how much it helps. Everyone talks about the ‘Support our Troop’ boxes when they come in.
