With the weather getting warmer I know we are going through the water a
lot quicker and the drink mixes (singles to go) are also being depleted
quickly. KAF is one of the few locations in the AOR that don’t have
drink mixes at the DFAC’s to grab. I know that Diet Snapple Fruit Punch
singles to go that have been in a few of your boxes is rather a
favorite, but anything will do. I contacted Snapple/jelsert directly to
try and get those and they have discontinued the diet fruit punch flavor
as well as they don’t ship directly to APO’s. It’s sad that these
business will not ship directly to the military forces serving over
seas.
I’m down to about 6 weeks left, some days fly by while others drag on
forever. The bad part is I recently found out I’ve got orders to Korea
for Sept. so will only be home about 3 1/2 months before taking off
again for a year. We aren’t to thrilled about it but also knew it was
very likely to happen so where already somewhat prepared for it. At
least I only have 2 yrs and 17 days until I am retirement eligible.
