I wanted to express my thanks to you from Task Force 44th Med in Afghanistan. We recently received the box of assorted candies and treats from our Clinical Officer that was sent to him by you. This was such a great treat and such an unexpected surprise. You certainly put a lot of smiles on a lot of people out here. We all wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to you and all who donated these luxuries from home.
Your contributions and sincerity makes such a difference to those of us out here. There’s no way we can ever repay you for your efforts but hope that our thanks reaches all of you. You really keep us going, and these gestures just reinforces the pride and gratitude we have for our country. It seems easy to forget sometimes that there’s still combat operations half a world away, but this box just reminded us that people have not forgotten. God bless you, and thank you again for your beautiful gift’s.
