troop letter: thank you for your donations
August 24, 2010
We are very appreciative of people back home who show their support for us with care packages
Bob,
I received your name from one of my squadron leaders and want to thank you for your donations to the troops, especially us here at the 362 ERS. We are very appreciative of people back home who show their support for us with care packages, prayers and thoughts. The gifts of small items for flight bags and treats that just are not readily available here help remind us of home. We are a squadron of primarily 8 month deployers and do miss home a great deal and feel the sacrifice on a daily basis of being away from our sons and daughters, wives and husbands, siblings and parents. I have a 4 and 1 year old and my wife of 10 years waiting for me back in Washington state. I should be home by Christmas, I really hope so. Again your thoughts and prayers are coveted and thanks for the care packages you’ve sent.
God Bless you-
Capt Dan
