To the Support our Troops origination. Let me first thank all of you for your continued support over the last year of our deployment. Your Organizations contribution to the 3rd Military Police Forensics Expeditionary Battalion (CID) has been a continuing ray of sunshine in an otherwise dim place. We have shared the items your organization has sent with many others to include our Iraqi counterparts and they would also like to say “Thank You” for what you do for us. Your actions have been a direct contribution to the success of this Battalion’s combat operation and moral. Your organizations service is a credit to all of you, our Armed Forces, and The United States of America.
Secondly, as I said before we are coming to the end of our deployment and are not being replaced. In turn I would ask that you stop sending the care packages to this unit and find another well deserving unit such as the 2nd CID Battalion who is currently deployed here in Iraq.
