troop letter: The popcorn machine

220 voltage socket and killed the motor
Bob,
Thanks for the latest box of goodies. The coffee is always appreciated as are the snacks. I do have one piece of bad news. Over the weekend someone used the popcorn machine and plugged it in to a 220 voltage socket and killed the motor. The worst part is that we have a transformer right next to the machine (but no sign) for that use. I’m not sure what can be done, but our medical maintenance guys say that the motor is shot.
The popcorn machine has been a huge hit especially now that we have football on in the evenings and we still have many pounds of corn to pop and butter to use up.
