To our friends at Support the Troops, Wesley Chapel, Bob and Pam-
On behalf of the Soldiers’ of Headquarters and Headquarters Company 1-5 CAV,
we thank you all for the wonderful goodies, toiletries, coffee and cigars!
Especially the very beautiful humidor. What a lovely touch. This being the
first package we have received since being in country, it could have not
come at a better time.
As we continue our exchange with the outgoing unit (one which I have served
before in , The Wolfhounds of 1/27 out of Hawaii) we are quite anxious to
begin our mission here. Though it remains very uncertain what we will be
doing 6 months down the road, we are motivated and ready for what our
leaders ask of us.
I could always count on the folks at Wesley Chapel while I was in
Afghanistan with the 173Dd and again you all have stepped up front in your
support efforts. For that, we send our gratitude for your selfless support.
Bob, Pam, Thank you both for all of the coordinated efforts in what Support
the Troops and OurTroopsOnline and the fine folks of Wesley Chapel
accomplishes day in and day out while our country is at war.
We’ll keep you all posted, God bless you all
P.S. Pam, you are right, the “Right Stuff” doesn’t taste very good. I
personally will not indulge in any more, but it’s a great product for those
Soldiers’ who are going out on patrol on a daily basis in the now 110 degree
heat to help keep them hydrated. It will hit near 130 in August. For
them...it’s Great Stuff!
