It is awesome to be home again
Bob,
It is awesome to be home again! My flight made it back to Whidbey Island on December 7th on a C-17, not a bad flight I was comfortable. We did get diverted to Ayr, Scotland and spent the night. What a quaint little town. We were the last of the airlifts to arrive home and then it was back to work until the holidays. We are in full swing now and flying on a regular schedule.
I truly appreciate all that you did for us while on deployment. Just for your records, our group from Sigonella returned as well. We received a couple of your boxes this week that took the long route of getting here, they went via Sigonella. I don’t want you to waste your valuable resources on us now that we have returned to the states.
Thank you again and I pray this New Year is generous and kind to you as you are to all of the deployed service members.
