troop letter: V/r, Rebecca
January 05, 2009
Mr. Williams,
I can not begin to say how much your packages that I have received have meant to me and the rest of the troops with me. We are overwhelmed at the generosity that you and the other businesses and families have for us. My group will be headed home in May and the next group should arrive a few weeks before we depart. We have 105 in our unit and we are from all over the U.S. I am stationed at Tinker AFB, OK with Keith and will be headed back there when my mission is complete.
Our troops are all doing well, and for the most part are not in any danger. Everyone here appreciates everything that is sent, but we are trying to watch our candy intake. We are in the cold season over here now and I hear that it could possibly snow here, too. We could always use items to help stay warm, when working or when in our cans (living quarters), thanks.
I really can’t say how much your packages mean to all of us and please let everyone involved with our care packages know how much we appreciate the kindness and thoughts. Thanks.
V/r, Rebecca
